My name is Hana. zìrán (自然) is a concept that translates to ‘self-so; of itself; nature; naturally,’ in other words, the natural unfolding of things. It is the ethos behind my practice, and what continues to inspire me: nature unfolding in all its ways, ever-changing.

I believe deeply in the poetic power of inking the skin; it is a transmission of your story and energy, channelled through my role as artist. I love to explore the ways in which a tattoo flows and becomes part of the body as a moving landscape. I believe that a tattoo has a way of finding its home on your skin, and I’m here to help with that.

I primarily work with abstract and nature-based forms, lines of all kinds, and while I love doing tattoos of all sizes, I am recently interested in exploring larger-scale projects.
